The Design Staff
of Bay Area Kitchens in Webster,
Texas, will take the
time to get to know you, understand
your needs, and then create a unique
kitchen design just for you. With
more than 35 years experience in
design and construction, Randy
Godeau is
the owner of Bay Area Kitchens and
is knowledgeable in all areas of
kitchen and interior construction
and remodeling. Randy brings
hands-on experience in electrical,
plumbing, carpentry and cabinet
making, as well as supervisory and
management skills, in addition to
his design talents.
Since 1983, his extensive and
diversified background has brought
his clients the perfect blend of
creativity, common sense and
hands-on experience. He has been
published in several area
newspapers, as well as in major
industry trade magazines. Randy and
his wife Karen live in Friendswood,
and have two grown daughters along
with four granddaughters.
B. Scott Haig, CKD (Certified
Kitchen Designer) and Architectural
and Kitchen/Bath Designer, comes to
Bay Area Kitchens adding his high
regard for fine design and attention
to detail to the tradition already
established there since 1983.
Graduating from Kansas State
University’s College of Architecture
and Design, Scott has over 20 years
design experience—overseeing
construction of both residential and
commercial projects. Two of his
recent projects (2009, 2010) were
recognized in Qualified Remodeler’s
Master Design Awards.
Kitchens and baths are at the center
of the home, and Scott makes it his
focus as he collaborates with
clients on their projects. With an
eye toward beauty, simplicity, and
elegance, Scott helps clients
recognize the potential in the space
that surrounds them.
Gladly accompanying clients in the
design-through-installation process,
Scott can offer helpful suggestions
with materials, colors, fixtures,
appliances and lighting, to create
or renew spaces to enjoy. The
process of taking ideas from paper
to production—and in doing so,
creating the homes that are vibrant
and welcoming— is what Scott truly
enjoys about the practice of design.
Scott makes his own home in the
Seabrook area.
Randy and Scott are both members of
the National Kitchen and Bath
Association (NKBA), and Bay Area
Kitchens is a member of the Clear
Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and
the Greater Houston Better Business
Bureau. Their affiliation with these
organizations demonstrates their
leadership in the Kitchen and Bath
Industry and dedication to the Bay
Area community. Both Randy and Scott
are officers of the Gulf Coast
Chapter of the NKBA.
Randy and Scott work closely with a
vast network of architects,
structural engineers, interior
designers, consultants and skilled
trades such as electricians,
plumbers, carpenters, drywall
installers, cabinet installers, tile
setters, stone fabricators, painters
and others in order to complete your
kitchen in a professional and
efficient manner.
