The Design Staff of Bay Area Kitchens, will take the time to get to know you, understand your needs, and then create a unique kitchen design just for you. With more than 30 years experience in design and construction, Randy is the owner of Bay Area Kitchens and is knowledgeable in all areas of kitchen and interior construction and remodeling. Randy brings hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and cabinet making, as well as supervisory and management skills, in addition to his design talents.

Since 1983, his extensive and diversified background has brought his clients the perfect blend of creativity, common sense and hands-on experience. He has been published in several area newspapers, as well as in major industry trade magazines. Randy and his wife Karen live in Friendswood and have two grown daughters along with three grand-daughters.

Randy’s design associate Matt Hegemier adds fresh design influence and brings their designs to life by creating incredibly life-like 3-D computer –generated “photographs” of their kitchen designs so clients can visualize how their new kitchen will look and function before any physical work begins. This allows them to work out all the minute design details in advance, maximizing project efficiency while reducing errors and misunderstandings.

Matt and his wife Anna live in League City along with their daughter.

Randy and Matt are active members of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), NARI, Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Houston Better Business Bureau. Their affiliation with these groups demonstrates their leadership in the Kitchen and Bath Industry and dedication to the Bay Area community. Both Randy and Matt are officers of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the NKBA.

Randy and Matt also have at their disposal a vast network of architects, structural engineers, interior designers, consultants and skilled trades such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, drywall installers, cabinet installers, tile setters, stone fabricators, painters and others in order to complete your kitchen in a professional and efficient manner.
